Pleasantville Chosen as Best Place for Culture Lovers
Westchester Magazine recently published an article calling Pleasantville, NY the Best Place for Culture Lovers.
There are some notable places such as the Jacob Burns Film Center, which shows current movies as well as classics and independant films. They offer everything from Contemporary Arab Cinema to Classic Italian Cinema and will be hosting the Westchester Jewish Film Festival from April 11-May 2nd. The also have educational workshops for children, teens, and adults.
Every July at Parkway Field there is the Pleasantville Music Festival which hosts a variety of acts on three stages. Two years ago I saw Jacob Dylan perform. This year it will be on July 14th.
Pleasantville has a great little downtown area with cafes, coffee shops, restaurants, and specialty shops. It is a great place to live!
